Provincial police are investigating a break and enter at a gas station in Barrys Bay.
The Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police says officers were called to a business in the 300 block of John Street at about 3:15 a.m. Monday after an alarm was triggered.
Police say suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived. A quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets was reported stolen.
Investigators from the OPP’s forensic identification unit, along with the Community Street Crime Unit, are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP or Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers.
