The Town of Petawawa is looking for local businesses interested in participating in its annual Pride event.
The town’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee is preparing to host the event for the fourth year in a row, and businesses in the community are invited to contribute to its success.
Town staff say they will be accepting financial donations to put towards entertainment and activities during the event, contributions of food and drinks to share with attendees, and supplies and services like decorations and volunteer support.
The event is scheduled for June 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Staff members say it’s an opportunity for local business owners to increase their visibility to residents and signal their support for diversity and inclusion.
Anyone interested in contributing is urged to contact Committee Chair Lisa Coutu over email.
