A pair of lucky local Sens fans will get the opportunity to watch an upcoming Ottawa Senators game thanks to the generosity of the NHA/NHL Birthplace Museum and its supporters.
From now until April 7, enter a raffle with the Museum for a chance to win two tickets to the April 9 matchup with the Florida Panthers.
John Hunt, member of the museum’s board of directors, said they simply want to see more people check out the museum.
Donations are not a requirement, but as stated by Hunt it would be greatly appreciated by the museum’s volunteers.
Ticket entries are available inside the museum, located right in the lobby of Renfrew’s myFM Centre.
The final day to submit an entry is April 7 at noon and the draw is happening soon after at 1:00 p.m.
Hunt said the museum is very thankful for the support from St. Michael Insurance who provided the tickets.
He said the museum will hop on any opportunity to promote local history.
Though there is no required cost for the contest, there are a few rules.
Contestants must be a resident of Ontario to participate and must be at least 18 years old.
One entry per person, per day is permitted, and a skill testing question will be asked ahead of contest entry.
The winner will watch the Tkuchuks dual from the 200 level, which is Hunt’s preferred seating section at the Canadian Tire Centre.
At the end of the day Hunt and the other volunteers want to see more visitors at the NHA/NHL Birthplace Museum and why not watch some great hockey along the way.
