Provincial police say a man is facing several charges after a break and enter at an apartment in the Ottawa Valley.
Officers with the OPP Upper Ottawa Valley detachment say they responded to a break-in in progress shortly before 8:40 a.m. Sunday at an unoccupied apartment in Laurentian Valley Township.
Police say a suspect was arrested at the scene. Investigators also seized a balaclava, hammer and gloves.
The suspect, a 38-year-old Pembroke resident, is charged with breaking and entering to commit an indictable offence, possession of break-in instruments and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say the accused was held for a bail hearing.
