The Deep River Police Service has arrested and charged an individual following an intimate partner violence investigation on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Police say one person is facing a charge of assault causing bodily harm – spousal, contrary to Section 267(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and is expected to appear in court later today.
