The Olympic visit was the final checkpoint in Troy and Lianne’s Europe trip, previously stopping in France and Switzerland.
The Lariviere’s only spectated Canadian curling but Troy said the crowd was raucous, especially the Brits during the gold medal game.
No matter how heated things may have gotten over the hog line, Troy and Lianne experienced nothing but good sportsmanship from other spectators in the stands.
They not only supported their nation’s team, but also represented Canadian pride.
Troy said his mother was quite new to travelling, her only other visit out of the country was to New York City last year.
He said going on an extravagant trip with his mother was an absolute must-do.
While cross-border travel has become more accessible, Troy said try not to hesitate when planning a trip.
Despite the rainy days spent in Paris and Zurich, Troy said the spectacle of the Alps was the ultimate summit.
