The Central Canada Hockey League has announced its 2026 Priority Draft will be held April 21 at 6 p.m. at the Nepean Sportsplex.
League officials say the Ottawa venue has served the CCHL well in previous years and will once again host the annual selection meeting ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The draft will follow a structured format, with the first two rounds reserved exclusively for players born in 2010.
Subsequent rounds will be open to eligible players born in 2008, 2009 and 2010 who are registered this season with a Hockey Eastern Ontario team and are not listed on any club’s protected list.
The CCHL says the format is designed to support long-term player development while maintaining competitive balance among its member teams.
