The Pembroke Symphony Orchestra is preparing for its annual winter show and inviting residents to attend.
The concert, called “Children at Play,” is being held at Festival Hall on February 21st.
Orchestra Vice president Kirsten Waymann says the event will feature a particularly famous children’s song:
Waymann also says the performance will feature a guest conductor:
According to Waymann, Pembroke’s distance from large cities like Ottawa has made it difficult to find a full-time conductor, which has made her thankful for the rotating group of guest conductors that have performed alongside the orchestra.
The show begins at 2:00 p.m. February 21st. Tickets for adults cost $25, while students can get in for $15 and children 12 and under can see the show for free. More details are available on the Festival Hall website.
