According to Renfrew OPP, a two-car collision on Hwy. 17 by Storyland Rd. has closed the stretch of the highway between Storyland and Castleford Rd (also Renfrew’s Bruce St.).
OPP received the call at around 10 a.m., fire and ambulance crews also quickly responded.
Police initially reported serious injuries, and at 12:55 today they issued an update stating one person has died.
