Ottawa resident Leslie Lisk is the latest winner of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s weekly Catch the Ace fundraising raffle.
Lisk, who purchased his tickets online, won the week 33 draw with a weekly pot of $16,621.
The PRH lottery, which has been raising funds for local causes, continues to draw excitement across the region.
The foundation’s Executive Director, Roger Martin, says the fundraiser has brought in over $600,000 over the last 33 weeks.
That money has been invested in the purchase of new IV pumps for the hospital’s emergency department, new surgical chairs, and an ultrasound machine.
Money from upcoming weeks is set to be put towards buying a new CT scanner.
Tickets are already on sale for the week 34 draw, with an estimated jackpot of $415,000 if the winner catches the ace of spades.
