Colleen Lapello of Palmer Rapids is turning her passion for crochet into support for local healthcare.
Throughout 2026, she will donate all proceeds from the sale of her blue-and-white crocheted angels to help purchase medical equipment at St. Francis Memorial Hospital.
In addition to the angels, Lapello is offering a variety of other handmade items, with a portion of sales also benefiting the hospital. Her creations will be available at the hospital auxiliary gift shop.
Hospital Auxiliary President Melody Budarick thanked Lapello for her generosity, noting the impact community support has on patient care.
