Motorists in Pembroke should expect lane reductions and minor disruptions on several streets this week as the city carries out snowbank removal.
From Wednesday, January 28, to Friday, January 30, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Pembroke Street West, Mary Street, and Trafalgar Road will be reduced to one lane. Flag persons will be on site to direct traffic, and drivers are asked to obey all posted construction signs.
Delays are likely, and the public is encouraged to consider alternate routes where possible.
City officials note that businesses located within the construction and detour areas remain open, and owners welcome customers during the work.
The City of Pembroke thanks residents and drivers for their patience as infrastructure improvements continue.
