The City of Pembroke’s Parks and Recreation Department says its Winter Craft Nights series will return for a second year, building on the popularity of last fall’s sessions.
The beginner-friendly workshops, delivered in partnership with local businesses, begin in the final week of January and will run every other Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.
The schedule opens Jan. 29 with a felted luminary workshop led by Forest Cove Alpaca Farm, followed by glass fusing on Feb. 12 with Stain in the Glass. A watercolour skills class is planned for Feb. 26, with ceramic painting on March 12, dot painting on March 26 and an upcycled notebook workshop on April 9.
Fees vary by session and a non-resident surcharge applies. Space is limited and advance registration is required through pembroke.ca/craftnights or by calling 613-735-6821, ext. 1501.
