Ontario Provincial Police say a Pembroke man wanted in connection with several driving offences has been arrested.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP detachment says officers executed an arrest warrant at a Pembroke residence on Jan. 9 with assistance from the Tactics and Rescue Unit and the OPP Canine Unit. Police say 37-year-old Jonathan MacMunn of Pembroke was taken into custody without incident.
MacMunn has been charged with one count of failure or refusal to comply with a demand and eight counts of operating a vehicle while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
Police say the accused was held for a bail hearing and later released. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Jan. 20.
