The 2025 Community Christmas Dinner initiative was a success this year.
The annual event sees full-course Christmas dinners prepared and delivered by volunteers to families in need in Pembroke.
This year, over 700 full-course meals were delivered in the city on Tuesday, December 23rd, an increase of more than 30 per cent compared to the 540 meals delivered in 2024.
The event is coordinated by the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a charity based out of Pembroke that has served people in the community in need since 2007 and operates a local soup kitchen.
