The team at Calabogie Peaks is making use of a little help from Mother Nature to treat the public to a little early-winter fun.
Liz Murphy, Director of Marketing at the resort, believes it would be a shame to not take advantage of the recent snowfall in the area, which, on top of their own snowmaking efforts, has opened up the chance to open up some of the mountain’s most popular trails a little earlier than expected this weekend.
Skiers dropping by this Saturday and Sunday will get the first crack at exciting lines like O’Brien’s, Shantyman, Jackbone, and Old K&P, plus the Beginner Bowl and Dylan’s Dip, a little treat before the mountain opens up entirely that comes included with a special $40 deal on your lift pass.
Murphy is expecting an “old-fashioned winter” to keep temperatures and slope conditions cold and steady, a perfect opportunity for those breaking out their skis and snowboards for the first time in a while to get back up the mountain.
The mountain is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on both Saturday, December 13th, and Sunday, December 14th.
