The County of Renfrew has ended the significant weather event that was declared earlier this week.
The event, which came into effect at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9th was declared as a result of a yellow snowfall warning for the Ottawa Valley issued by Environment Canada.
The snowfall led to several school bus cancellations on Wednesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 11th.
The Pembroke Lumber Kings were also made to cancel their Wednesday night game against the Carleton Place Canadiens as a result of the weather.
The county ended the significant weather event at 11:48 a.m. December 11th.
