Environment Canada and local school buses agree that today will not be for the faint of heart.
The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium is warning parents that school buses have been cancelled across the Ottawa Valley for this morning as Environment Canada is calling for an Alberta clipper to dump as much as 15 to 20 centimetres of heavy snow across the region starting this morning.
Travel will likely be challenging today, as accumulating snow will make roads and walkways difficult to navigate and reduce visibility during your commute.
All schools in the area will remain open for the day.
