Bad weather has led to a local hockey game being postponed.
The Pembroke Lumber Kings have cancelled their match against the Carleton Place Canadiens, initially set to take place on Wednesday, December 10th.
The cancellation came due to significant snowfall in the region because of an Alberta clipper passing over the Ottawa Valley.
The Lumber Kings are currently on an 11-game losing streak. Their last win was in late October when they defeated the Brockville Braves at home 5-2.
According to the team’s website, their next game is set for December 12th against the Rockland Nationals.
Their next home game comes a few days later against the Renfrew Wolves at the Pembroke Memorial Centre on December 14th.
