Former Pembroke Lumber Kings coach Brandon Richardson has taken to social media in an effort to expose allegations of wrong doing within the organization that he says led to his recent dismissal from the team.
Richardson posted a lengthy letter on Facebook just hours ago pointing a finger at team Owner Alex Armstrong and his wife as well as prominent mention of officials at Hockey Canada and the CCHL.
On November 25th myFM received a note from team Owner Armstrong confirming that Richardson had in fact been removed from the team:
“At this time, we can confirm that Brandon Richardson has been relieved of his duties and is no longer with the organization. Our coaching staff will continue forward with Coach Arruda and Coach LeBlanc leading the team.”
The move comes amid a current seven game losing skid that has left many fans wondering what’s next for their beloved PLK Squad.
Richardson has been contacted by Pembroketoday.ca for further details.
