The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is encouraging residents to take part in Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2, with donations set to be matched by two local sponsors.
Bayshore Home Healthcare and The Brick Pembroke will match all contributions made that day, doubling the funds raised for a new CT scanner at the hospital. The current scanner performs more than 15,000 scans annually and is 14 years old.
Roger Martin, the foundation’s executive director, says the matching campaign offers the community a meaningful way to support essential diagnostic equipment.
Donations can be made online through the foundation’s website or social media, by phone, mail or e-transfer. The foundation also thanked 104.9 myFM, the campaign’s media sponsor, for helping promote the initiative.
More information is available on the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s website.
