Christmas day is now less that a month away and its time to break out the woolies and head downtown for this year’s Santa Claus Parade.
This year the theme of the parade is Jingle Bell Rock ‘One Night Only: Santa’s Greatest Hits’ and in keeping with that theme, myFM is thrilled to be joined by Josh Coleman, lead singer of Sawmill Road who will lend his vocal talents to the parade as the official “Float Host”. Josh says he’s ready to rock!
Organizers say to expect plenty of music, lights, and excitement as the community comes together for a night of festive fun and Christmas magic along with some of the greatest rockin’ Christmas music ever recorded. Folks are invited to grab a mic on the myFM float and belt out a tune or two with Josh right there to help the vibe along:
The parade goes this coming Saturday November 29th beginning at 5:30PM from The Metro Store on Pembroke Street East and winds its way through the downtown core to L’Equinoxe School.
Josh says that he’s going to really work the crowd this year to get everyone into the Holiday Spirit:
