One of the nicest things about the holidays is the music that comes along with the season and pianist Peter Boczar invites us to a Christmas Concert that he will hold with his dear friend Kirsten Wayman, principal violinist from the Pembroke Symphony Orchestra.
On Monday December 8th at 1PM Peter and Kirsten will present a selection of Christmas favorites at the Silver Threads Community Centre in Petawawa. Peter tells us what we can look for on that day:
Peter promises that there will be a little bit of something for everyone including , he says, an audio appearance of “The Holy Ghost” which is sure to get everyone into the holiday spirit.
As the show is being held at The Silver Threads Community Centre at 1163 Victoria Street in Petawawa, he says that the afternoon might appeal more to the older set yet all ages are surely welcome. The show is free to attend but Peter and Kirsten would like it it is folks would not come empty handed:
Peter says that the last performance he held in the spring netted about $200 worth of much needed food for The Petawawa Pantry and he hopes this time around they can surpass that.
Refreshments will be served afterwards with Peter himself donating a Christmas cake for all to enjoy along with a warm or cold beverage. Hope to see you there!
