Sarah Bennett knows quality meat.
A relatively simple statement that most butchers would claim, only it rings especially true for Burnt Bridge Quality Meats — and Sarah has the track record to prove it. Sarah herself will tell you who she really is:
What sets Burnt Bridge apart from others is the fact that, as a farmer, Sarah knows every morsel that went into the animal she has raised and can guarantee that what you are buying to feed yourself and your family is the highest quality around. There is no guesswork involved.
One of the many things Sarah prides herself on is the fact that she can keep her prices relatively comparable to the larger stores, which she says comes as a surprise to many when they come into her store for the first time.
Sarah tries to source almost all of her products from the Valley, and by and large she is very successful at that. Her customers, she says, are definitely health-conscious, and that’s where her organic foods really come in. She carries organic milk from Upper Canada Creamery as well as organic pastured eggs, and will soon be offering organic sour cream and cheeses as well. What is critical, she says, is that as long as she knows exactly what went into the product, she will stand behind it 100 percent.
Burnt Bridge Quality Meats is featuring a special sale item every day this week as part of her Fall Fair Days campaign beginning Monday, November 17, and running through Friday:
