The Festival of Remembrance went Saturday night at Festival Hall and it was an evening to remember indeed.
Organized by Ian Kuehl and Dez Bair-Patel and sponsored by Bergeron Clifford Injury Lawyers, the evening was filled with moving song and dance performances to a wrapt crowd.

Starz in Motion Dance Troupe gave a terrific performance and pre taped messages from various veterans rounded out the evening.
While the final numbers are still being tallied, it was announced that the $10,000 goal had been reached to benefit The Fire Team K9 Service Dog Program which is an organization that trains service dogs to assist veterans coping with mental and physical health challenges.
It was also announced that there will be a third annual Festival of Remembrance and next year the benefactor will be Music Healing Veterans who was the recipient of the funds from the inaugural event last year.
