The City of Pembroke, in coordination with our emergency management partners, will be conducting an emergency exercise on April 22, 2026. The exercise is intended to test our local preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities in the event of a large-scale emergency.
This exercise will involve an incident at the PMC and will a require a large amount of resoucres and a full community effort to be successful. This is why you have received this letter. You, as important community members, can play an important role in our City’s exercise by participating as players and actors during the exercise. It is a great opportunity for the students to understand the municipalities role during an emergency and to learn about emergency management and preparedness.
We invite you to attend a Stakeholder Information Meeting to learn more about the upcoming exercise, what to expect, and how you and your organization can participate or be affected.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday November, 5th at 10:00 AM at The Pembroke Fire Hall – 200 International Drive.
Please RSVP to confirm your attendance by contacting Wendy Hewitt at 613-735-6821 ext. 1201 or whewitt@pembroke.ca or Fire Chief Scott Selle at 613-735-6821 ext. 1201 or sselle@pembroke.ca .
