It’s time yet again for the OV Fall Fest taking place at The Rankin Community Centre this coming Saturday October 25th and 26th and Krista Cliche is not “kitten around” this year as she is set to get a significant haircut all in the name of the local OSPCA. “Locks Of Love” is the name of the event and she tells myFM that this is not the first time she has made a trip to the barber for charity:
Krista is poised to donate about 20 inches of her long hair to benefit our furry friends here in The Valley. The fair will feature tons of local artisans, crafters and vendors as well as lots of delicious food and great local music.
Another unique little twist to this event is an idea Krista came up with is a variation to the traditional “raffle” but this time it’s got a pet friendly name:
Krista has set a goal of $500 to raise but she of course would be thrilled to make it more as she knows that valley residents are very well known for their generosity especially when it comes to the welfare of pets. The cost to enter the draw for the “Ruffle Basket” is only 2 bucks and the fine folks from the OSPCA will be there to accept your cash.
The Fair runs from 10AM to 4PM both days and is free to enter for adults and kids of all ages. See you at The Fair!
