The Ottawa Valley Festival of Remembrance is thrilled to announce its return to Festival Hall @ L’Équinoxe on November 8, 2025. This extraordinary event, presented by Bergeron Clifford Injury Lawyers, is a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have selflessly served in the Canadian Armed Forces.
The Festival of Remembrance will feature a dance performance by Starz in Motion, local veteran and musician Christian Whelan, the band Stereo Typical and headliner Music Healing Veterans. Additionally, powerful stories told by veterans themselves promise to both captivate and move the audience.
“We are incredibly proud to have Bergeron Clifford Injury Lawyers as our presenting sponsor for this year’s Festival,” said Dez Bair-Patel, Co-Chair of the event. “Their support is instrumental in helping us ensure the success of this meaningful tribute and allowing us to properly showcase the talents and stories of our remarkable veterans.”
The proceeds of tickets sold for this event, together with a silent action, will also serve as a crucial fundraiser with all proceeds benefitting the Fire Team K-9 Service Dog Program. This locally run charity was chosen for the immense impact it has on local veterans by training service dogs who are specifically trained to respond to the effects of mental health injuries.
“This year’s Festival of Remembrance promises to be an exciting evening full of live, local talent featuring veterans and serving members in each musical act.” says Councillor Ian Kuehl, Co-Chair of the event. “The evening’s program will move seamlessly between the solemnity of veteran interviews and an original dance performance by Starz in Motion and the powerful music of Christian Whelan, Stereo Typical and Music Healing Veterans.”
