The Pembroke Symphony Orchestra is ready for their season opener which is scheduled for Friday October 24th at 7PM at Festival Hall. Kirsten Waymann Artistic Director of the PSO gives us a sneak peek at what they will be offering at their opening performance:
For over 30 years now the PSO has been the principal Orchestra in The Valley with Waymann playing with the ensemble for 28 of those years. The PSO offers four performances annually and with Christmas right around the corner, they are already set to deliver their Holiday show which Kirsten says will offer a seasonal classic sure to be known by many:
Their offering in February is a unique one, says Waymann, where something that will appeal especially to the younger set will be paired with their usual magnificent delivery of the classics:
The Christmas performance is usually guaranteed to sell out and Kirsten hopes that the kick off show this Friday will follow suit. For those who have never taken in a symphonic performance she has a message that she loves to share along these lines:
