The Co-Operators Group in Pembroke is celebrating a significant milestone this week as they have been in operation for 80 years as “Co-Op Week” comes to a close.
Perri-Rae Boell has been at the helm of the Pembroke location for just over 8 years but has been around the insurance game for much longer as she tells myFM:
Perri-Rae got her start in the insurance game when she was in high school and her father was a Co-Operators agent in Cobden and since then the business has been literally in her blood.
The Co-operators Group Limited, a top Canadian co-operative in insurance and financial services, oversees more than $62 billion in assets. It delivers financial protection and investment solutions through its diverse offerings in insurance, wealth management, institutional asset management, and brokerage.
A BBQ was held Thursday afternoon outside the Pembroke St East offices and community members were invited to help celebrate with staff. A draw will be held soon where prizes can be won as well as the grand prize for that culinary expert:
