The Veteran Business Vendors Expo which is an initiative designed to promote Veteran owned business right across the Ottawa Valley is coming back to the Petawawa Civic Centre this month on Saturday November 1st from 10AM to 3PM.
Rudy Kadlec, Economic Development Co-ordinator for the Town of Petawawa says there is no better way to celebrate the dozens of Veteran owned and operated business in our region:
Historically, 15 to 20 businesses sign up to be showcased at the event each year and it looks like there will be a similar turnout this year, says Kadlec, and he says there is always a really good cross section of product and service offerings taking part:
A big part of Kadlec’s role in the Economic Development Department is to help promote new and existing business of all shapes and sizes, but Petawawa being the military town that it is he is particularly proud of the work he and his team have done with current and former military personnel:
There are still spots available for vendors who wish to take part and registration closes on September 26th.
Rudy reminds food service businesses selling prepared/prepackaged beverages/food/candy products must obtain an RCDHU special occasion permit which can be found following the link below:
