PLK fans were back in the stands in droves last night at the PMC as the Lumber Kings kicked off their 2025/26 season with their home opener against The Brockville Chiefs.
Mayor Ron Gervais was among the dignitaries on hand to drop the ceremonial first puck for the home season and the first goal of the game at 1:45 to put the Kings up 1-0.
The Kings had been on the road since September 19th for four away games before coming home to the PMC last night managing a 6-5 win over Brockville.
New Head Coach of The Kings Brandon Richardson has played many games in the PMC and knows only too well what a passionate fan base this team has and he is well aware of the work cut out for him this season.
Stay tuned to 104.9 myFM for all away games which will be broadcast live and once again called by Geoff Patterson.
Go Kings Go!
