The City of Pembroke and the Township of Laurentian Valley are once again teaming up to host the 6th annual Spooky Movie Night at the Skylight Drive-In on Saturday, Oct. 4. This year’s lineup features a double screening of Night of the Zoopocalypse and Witches (2020). With space for more than 200 cars, the event promises a fright-filled evening for all ages. Gates open at 5 p.m., so arrive early to secure a great viewing spot.
A Halloween costume contest kicks off at 6 p.m. in front of the big screen near the playground, with prizes for Best Family Costume, Scariest Costume, and Cutest Costume. Every attendee will receive a free bag of popcorn upon entry while supplies last, and kids will be treated to candy bags right in their vehicles. The first film is set to roll at 6:30 p.m., or as soon as it gets dark enough.
Admission is free but advance tickets are required, available starting Sept. 22. Each ticket covers one carload, not individual seats. For full details and ticket information, visit Pembroke.ca/spookymovienight.
