That little bit of crispness in the air signals the onset of fall which means that its time for the annual Laurentian Valley Fall Flavours Festival taking place Saturday September 20th from noon to 7 PM.
The Alice & Fraser Recreation Centre at 1 Henan Road will once again host the event with the return of all of the festival favourites for folks of all ages.
Enjoy a full day of fun with food vendors, beverage sampling, live entertainment, baking and preserving competitions, a handmade market, cornhole tournament, face painting, Ry’J’s Bouncy Castle, dance performances and more. Headlining the stage are Lock, Stock and Barrell (12–3 p.m.) and the John Priebe Band (4–7 p.m.). Proceeds support recreation programs and upgrades at the Alice & Fraser Recreation Centre.
Especially popular this year is going to be the baking contest which will be based on appearance, quality and taste. Winners will be announced at 3:00pm.
Another highlight is sure to be members of Starz In Motion Dance Studio who will hit the stage at 2 p.m. Audiences can expect high-energy performances packed with talent and passion. Don’t miss the chance to see these shining stars light up the stage.
This is sure to be one of the highlights of the fall season this year in The Valley so come on out and enjoy a late summer/early fall family tradition.
