It’s been a sweltering summer in the Valley, and the climate deniers are hiding in the shade.
The Kitchissippi-Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Council of Canadians is mobilizing to take part in a Global Day of Action against Climate Change, planned for Saturday, September 20th.
In advance of that, next Monday will see a ZOOM meeting to plan local participation.
If you’re a committed activist, you know the urgency. If you’re curious, now’s the time to get your questions answered.
Register here for a planning zoom, happening on Monday, August 25th, from 7-8PM.

The brainstorming session will consider two options: grab local and municipal attention September 20th at one or more local locations; OR gather a local contingent to take part in the national “flagship rally” on Parliament Hill.
Next Monday’s ZOOM session will be facilitated by KOC members Carol Sulpher and Ann Pohl, of the Kitchissippi-Ottawa Valley Climate Matters! Action Group. Email to: kovclimatematters@gmail.com
