First Choice Hair Cutters Tim Halliday and Carol Chevalier
First Choice Hair Cutters in Pembroke is once well underway with the “All Hands On Deck” Food Drive in support of a handful of food banks in The Ottawa Valley.
Bins have been located at the Pembroke location on Mackay Street since July 21st collecting non perishable food items. Places like Steven and Julie’s No Frills, Food Basics Pembroke and Bruham Food Mart are also collecting donations.
First Choice District Manager Tim Halliday says that he is honoured to yet again be a part of this great initiative:
Halliday notes that there is a special incentive for folks to gather some food items to bring in when they need their next hair cut:
Branch Manager Carol Chevalier who has been at the helm of the Pembroke location for 27 years is proud to be involved with her staff in with a slightly different approach at donating to a worthy cause and getting that special feeling of being a part of something really worthwhile. Halliday explains:
The food drive began on July 21st and it will come to a close on August 15th when all of the food will be collected and distributed to their various distribution locations.
