On June 26th, the Town of Petawawa economic development department hosted the third business networking event of the year. This provided an opportunity to share results from the Business Retention and Expansion survey in an informal setting.
Over 40 people attended the event, which was hosted at Dog House Brewing Company. At the event, a new fall shopping guide was launched by the economic development department to offer joint marketing opportunities.
Christine Mitchell, Economic Development Manager for the Town of Petawawa says: “We welcomed the opportunity to review the results of the BR&E program with the businesses and community in attendance. We shared current and ongoing projects facilitated and the EcDev Department.”
Local business owners and operators were engaged through interviews, surveys, and discussions to explore their needs, challenges, and plans for growth. The project gathered key insights from across Petawawa’s business landscape.
Mitchell goes on to say that…”We encourage businesses, community partners, and residents to review the BR&E presentation document and respond to a short survey to help us gather even more insight, which will shape our Economic Action strategy update.”
The Town of Petawawa thanks all participating businesses for their time, input, and ongoing commitment to the community.
