The 3rd annual Run For Home went on Saturday June 28th and according to organizer Megan Jones, it was a turnout that far exceeded her expectations:
Jones says that there were in excess of 325 runners, another milestone she had truly hoped to meet and succeeded to do so. The biggest news of the day was that the ultimate goal of fundraising for the Closer to Home 96 bed long terms care facility got a major boost from the days take:
Jones hopes that construction on the new facility will be completed by October of this year and possibly even sooner if all continues to go as planned.
Special thanks from Megan and her Team, to everyone who helped make the day such a success.
