The Integrated Health Centre in Pembroke is inviting the community to its 2nd Annual Patient Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 570 Nelson Street. This year’s celebration holds special meaning, as it also marks the retirement of Dr. Nikhil Bair-Patel, the Centre’s founder and longtime chiropractor.
Dr. Bair-Patel will be stepping away from full-time clinical practice and moving into a part-time teaching role to help train the next generation of healthcare professionals. “This is not goodbye — it’s just a new way for me to give back,” he said. “I’ll continue to share my knowledge while staying part of the IHC family.”
The free community event will feature fun for all ages, including clinic tours, live music, food, bouncy castles, and the chance to meet the full IHC team. Guests can connect with health professionals in chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, counselling, dental hygiene, and more.
“We’re proud to honour my father’s incredible career and show appreciation to the patients who make what we do possible,” said Dr. Nikhita Bair-Patel, Clinical Director. “This is a celebration of community, care, and connection.”
Integrated Health Centre’s mission is to help people live active, healthy lives for as long as possible. The June 21 event is a way to thank the Pembroke community while recognizing Dr. Bair-Patel’s lifelong dedication to improving health and wellness. Everyone is welcome to attend.
