Riley Thatcher - Owner of Valley Hair Artistry
We recently introduced you to a Pembroke woman named Kaylee Severin who is the mother of two young daughters and has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Kaylee has a Go Fund Me campaign which has come to the attention of many thanks in large part to Christine Rinas who has initiated a fundraising campaign of her own where the ultimate goal is to cut all of her hair off in support of Kaylee.
Enter Riley Thatcher, owner of Valley Hair Artistry who has agreed to cut Chirstine’s hair. Riley explains:
That gesture in itself is more than generous but Riley being the caring and sympathetic person she is decided to take it a huge step further:
On Monday, June 16th between the hours of 10AM and 3PM Riley will offer haircuts to anyone who walks in for the price of whatever donation they care to make to Christine’s Kaylee Fund. Riley emphasizes that men, women and children are all welcome to be a part of this amazing fundraising initiative:
Riley has enlisted the help of a friend that day to get as many haircuts done as possible. When asked why she is so passionate about this cause, Riley points to the fact that Valley communities are well known for their altruism and generosity:
Come on in to Valley Hair Artistry at 1314 Pembroke Street West this coming Monday, June 16 between 10AM and 3PM and take part in this incredible fundraising effort by equally incredible local people! Riley sums it up nicely:
