Environment Canada has confirmed that air quality has improved across most of Ontario and Quebec after several days of haze and warnings.
The agency lifted air quality alerts on Sunday, following two days of poor conditions caused by wildfire smoke. Changes in wind and rainfall helped clear the air in many areas east of the Prairies, where wildfires are still burning.
Residents are advised to stay informed as conditions can change.
