Algonquin College’s Pembroke Campus will proudly celebrate the accomplishments of its graduating class at the 2025 Convocation Ceremony. This special occasion honours the academic and personal achievements of students as they officially complete their post-secondary journey.
Convocation is a meaningful rite of passage for students and an opportunity for families, faculty, and the community to celebrate their hard work and perseverance. The event brings together the spirit of the College and the community, marking a significant milestone for graduates and acknowledging the transformative power of education.
The event takes place at The Pembroke Memorial Centre, 393 Pembroke St W, Pembroke, ON K8A 5N5 – Friday, June 13, 2025, 1 to 3 p.m.
More than 250 graduates from 20 full-time programs and the Academic Upgrading program will cross the stage. The ceremony will feature:
- Valedictory Address from Vicki Alexopoulos Read, Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate
- Recognition of student excellence through cross-college and program awards
- Presentation of an Honorary Degree to Jason Blaine, renowned country music artist and proud Pembroke native
