The City of Pembroke’s Parks & Recreation Department is thrilled to announce the return of Yoga in the Park for summer 2025. Set against the peaceful backdrop of the Ottawa River, this free outdoor yoga class is open to everyone, no matter your age or experience level.
Starting June 4 and running until August 27, Yoga in the Park will be held every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at beautiful Waterfront Park. Classes will be led by expert instructors from White Pine Yoga, offering participants a chance to stretch, breathe, and unwind in nature.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing, and enjoy the calming atmosphere, enhanced by vibrant flowerbeds planted by the Pembroke Horticultural Society.
“This is a perfect way to relax after a busy day and connect with your community,” said a spokesperson from the Parks & Recreation Department. “Yoga in the Park promotes both physical and mental wellness in one of Pembroke’s most scenic locations.”
No registration is required, and participation is completely free. For updates or weather-related announcements, follow the City of Pembroke on social media. Additional details can be found at www.pembroke.ca/YITP.
