Wilson, Ruth Iva (Former Owner of Wilson’s Flower Shop) peacefully passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday April 27, 2025 at the age of 88 years. Ruth Wilson (nee Mathieson) of Pembroke, Beloved wife of Carl Wilson. Loved and cherished Mom of Deborah Mackie (Ian), Manitoba, Diana Wilson (Brian Yourth), Golden Lake and Darlene Anderson (late Andy), Pembroke. Loving grandmother of Jason, Matthew , Michael and Cassandra (Steven) Mackie, Caroline Rose (Danton), Dawn (Tim), Laura, Stephaine and Andrew (Angie) Anderson and 10 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Cecil Mathieson (Margaret), Beachburg. Daughter of the late Clayton and Iva (nee Orr) Mathieson.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday May 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at St Andrews United Church, Beachburg. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery. In memory of Ruth donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
