The City of Pembroke, alongside the Civic & Youth Award Committee, is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Civic & Youth Awards. These annual awards aim to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the community in a variety of fields, including arts, sports, leadership, and community service.
The Youth Awards celebrate the achievements of young people in Pembroke, with categories such as arts and literature, community contributions, leadership, personal courage, and young athlete. Each recipient of a Youth Award will receive a $300 bursary and a Certificate of Merit during the Annual Civic & Youth Award Ceremony.
The Civic Awards honor community members who have made a lasting impact in categories including civic pride, arts and culture, community service, good Samaritan, outstanding senior, and the spirit of sport. All Civic Award recipients will be presented with the prestigious Iconic Pembroke Sundial Trophy at the ceremony.
The deadline to submit nominations is April 28th. Nominations can be submitted online at Civic and Youth Awards – City of Pembroke or through paper forms available at City Hall, the Parks and Recreation Office at the PMC Arena, or the Pembroke Library.
