If you like classical, jazz, Irish music and more than you won’t wan to miss out on this free Piano Concert put on by Peter Boczar. Happening on March 13th at 1:30 p.m. at the Silver Threads Community Centre in Petawawa, this concert is free to attend but will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Petawawa Pantry.
Peter started playing the piano when he was just five-years-old and continued into his teen years. He decided to put the music aside and focus on his career, but he knew the music had been calling his name so when he retired he picked it right back up. He sat down with myFM to talk about the concert and why it is important.
The concert is open to the public, although Peter encourages the community to support the Petawawa Pantry by bringing food and cash donations. He tells myFM that it should be a good time with the community.
Peter spends a lot of his own time sharing his music to care facilities across Pembroke and Petawawa and hopes he can make this Piano Concert a regular event.
Don’t forget to bring a food donation with you on March 13th at 1:30 p.m. at the Silver Threads Community Centre.
