Just when it looked like winter was done with the Ottawa Valley, Environment Canada is calling for more.
The weather agency has placed the Ottawa Valley under a snowfall warning as a cold low-pressure system from the west is expected to bring around 15 centimetres of snow to Renfrew County starting this afternoon and peaking during the evening and overnight hours.
Heavy snow can create problems for local commuters as conditions and visibility on roads and walkways will be suddenly and severely impacted at some point tonight.
Environment Canada says to be ready to adjust as the situation changes.
