The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is excited to announce Steven Thompson of Manotick as the Week 28 winner of their Catch the Ace progressive jackpot raffle, presented by OK Tire Pembroke. Thompson won the weekly prize of $13,993 after his ticket revealed the 3 of Spades.
PRHF Executive Director, Roger Martin, shared that the Week 29 draw has now launched, with an estimated jackpot of over $300,000 if the Ace of Spades is caught.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support of our presenting sponsor, OK Tire,” said Martin. “Thanks to their generosity, more of the funds raised go directly to purchasing new equipment for Pembroke Regional Hospital. In just 28 weeks, the raffle has raised over $444,000, helping fund 10 new hospital beds valued at $117,170 and a new ultrasound machine for the Diagnostic Imaging Department, valued at $200,000.”
Looking ahead, PRHF is now working to fund an additional ultrasound machine, as the hospital is in need of four. Martin also encouraged everyone to continue supporting the cause by purchasing tickets for the next draw.
Tickets for the Catch the Ace raffle are available at www.PRHcatchtheace.ca, and at various local cash sale locations: Holiday Inn Express, Cork Culture, NRTC Communications in Petawawa, Bumpy Roads Studio in downtown Pembroke, and Making Seasons Bright. Ticket prices range from 3/$5 to 250/$40, offering participants the chance to win both the weekly prize and the growing jackpot.
Fifty percent of ticket sales go directly to funding PRH’s most urgent equipment needs.
