If you’ve been eagerly waiting to check out the new look inside McDonald’s, the wait is finally over! On February 14, the dining room will be open to the public, after a couple weeks of much needed renovations. The restaurant has been closed for significant renovations aimed at improving service and efficiency.
Operations Supervisor Francesca Rakinic tells myFM that regular customers will be in for a surprise when they step through the newly redesigned entrance—it’s not what they expect!
The renovations feature a complete realignment of the kitchen and drive-thru equipment, designed to streamline operations and enhance service speed for customers. These upgrades aim to reduce employee movement, boosting overall efficiency and creating a smoother, faster experience for everyone.
They are having a grand reopening celebration on February 20, in the afternoon. Rakinic explains that there will be lots going on that Thursday that the community won’t want to miss.
The Lumber Kings will be on hand to greet everyone and add to the excitement! To make the day even more community driven, Rakinic explains that they will be fundraising for the Pembroke Food Bank as well.
In celebration of the Four Nations Cup, they’re also hosting a Showdown Draw! Every purchase from the Showdown menu enters you for a chance to win an exclusive hockey jersey, with the lucky winner being drawn on the 20th.
With exciting updates, giveaways, and community support, the grand reopening promises to be a celebration you won’t want to miss—mark your calendars for February 20th!
