On Monday, December 30, the Pembroke Fire Department responded to a trailer fire on Poirier Street. The fire was reported at approximately 6:30 a.m., prompting the department to dispatch one pumper truck and three personnel to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a travel trailer fully involved in the fire. Pembroke’s quick response helped bring the fire under control, preventing it from spreading further. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the trailer was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Pembroke Fire Department would like to extend its thanks to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for their support during the incident.
The Pembroke Fire Department reminds residents to stay vigilant and report any fires immediately to prevent further damage or harm.
